Client Advantage Program

Over the past few years, we have become increasingly aware that our success as a practice is dependent upon a close working relationship with a core group of clients. These clients realize that quality medicine for their horses requires not just a visit from their veterinarian, but a veterinary team that is committed to this end. This is a team that will consistently maintain and deliver the highest standards. We have "toyed" with the concept of a rewards or advantage program for these loyal clients. We are now pleased to present the Equine Medical Service Client Advantage Program.

This program was developed to offer products, services and pricing not normally available. We strive to include the most sought after benefits by utilizing not only our own strengths, but also our longstanding community and industry relationships. Our goal is to reward our clients and to continually improve our level of service.

  • Gold Advantage Program covers all horses owned and Includes:

  • Discounted Farm Call Fees
    A 15% discount on all of your ambulatory fees

  • Discounted Emergency Fees
    A 20% discount on all of your emergency fees

  • Discounted Professional Fees
    A 10% discount on all of your professional fees.

  • Discounted Drugs and Supplies
    A 10% discount on all of your drugs and supplies. Drugs and supplies can be a significant portion of your medical care costs. This feature entitles you to a discount on all of your prescribed and dispensed drugs and supplies. This includes prescription drugs, nutraceuticals, and even bandaging supplies.

  • Priority Emergency Service
    Emergency Service 24 hours per day 7 days per week 365 days per year.

  • E-Mail Emergency Health Notification System
    Important Veterinary medical alerts will be sent via your email address as soon as EMS becomes aware of them.

  • Direct Mail Newsletters
    Receive our Seasonal newsletter via direct mail.

  • Ranch Way Feeds Discount Program
    Visit the Ranch Way store in downtown Fort Collins and receive a discount on select purchases of grain.

  • Happy Horse Tack & Saddle Shop Discount Program
    Stop in at Happy Horse Tack store in Fort Collins and be eligible for additional discounts.

    Stop in at the Four Winds Tack store in Fort Collins and enjoy a 10% discount on your purchase.

  • Be Quick Horseshoeing Discount Program
    Receive free lost shoe insurance from Be Quick Horseshoeing. Be Quick Horseshoeing will also match Advantage Member discounted prices on all Assure and Assure Plus products purchased through them.


Membership Conditions: Membership is offered to those clients using Equine Medical Service as their primary care veterinarian. The cost of a Gold Advantage membership is only $49, per horse owner for first time enrollment. Renewals each new year are $24.50. The cost of a Gold Advantage membership is only $24.50, per horse owner for first time enrollment for current 4H members, Pony Club members, CSU students, and CSU employees. Renewals each new year are $12.50 for current 4H members, Pony Club members, CSU students, and CSU employees. All memberships will be subject to renewal, and will expire one calendar year from enrollment or renewal. Membership enrollment and membership renewal will be at the sole discretion of Equine Medical Service.

Upon enrollment a membership card will be issued. Clients must have their membership card available when requesting their discounts from Equine Medical Service or any of its discount partners.

Advantage member discounts cannot be added to other Equine Medical Service special offers or discounted items. Program discounts offered through participating merchants are subject to modification without notice.

*Ambulatory service to outlying and mountain areas cannot be guaranteed and is not always available. However, in clinic emergency services will regularly be available to patients from mountain and outlying areas.
